Kelly, from Brasil, was drawn by Humberto, from Portugal. Jojo, from England, was drawn by Ji Lian, from Australia. Malcolm, from Holland, was was by Steven, from the USA.The idea of Selfless Portraits, a collaborative art project conceived by Ivan Cash and Jeff Greenspan, is simple: getting strangers from all over the world interacting. But without the principal objective being to chat: here the Facebook profile photographs are transformed into illustrations. Anyone can participate, as long as he or she is willing to send a photo of him/herself and, of course, willing to transform someone else’s photograph in an illustration. The project, which functions as a Facebook application, was implemented during the month of February and already has eight thousand images from 90 different countries.
